In the EU, oilseed processing volumes decreased over the month

The volume of oilseeds processing in Europe in May decreased slightly compared with the previous month, according to data of Fediol Association.

Nevertheless, according to materials of monitoring, on the territory of countries of the block about 3,32 million tons of oilseeds were processed in the reporting period, that is by 11% higher than in May 2022.

Rapeseed was processed the most – 1.532 million tons. Next comes the soybeans – 1.283 million tons. Then the sunseed – 505 thousand tons.
