In July, the volume of oilseed processing increased in the EU
The European Association of Vegetable Oil Producers (FEDIOL) estimates that in July 2023, the EU oil extraction plants processed more than 3.2 mln tonnes of oilseeds, which is almost 250 thsd tonnes higher than last month and 444 thsd tonnes higher than the final result of July 2022.
Thus, in July, the company processed 1.26 mln tonnes of soybeans, 466 thsd tonnes of sunseed and 1.5 mln tonnes of rapeseed.
In general, since the beginning of the year, the processing of oilseeds has increased to almost 22.7 mln tons.
