In April, the rate of Ukrainian grain exports was 2.4 times lower than last year

In April, Ukraine exported 2 million 269 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 3 million 391 thousand tons or 2.4 times less than in April 2024. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Wheat exports in April 2025 amounted to 750 thousand tons, which is 958 thousand tons or 2.7 times more than last year.
Also, Ukrainian farmers exported 47 thousand tons of barley in April 2024, which is 163 thousand tons less than in April 2024.
In the second month of spring this year, rye was not exported abroad. However, in April 2024, Ukraine exported 0.2 thousand tons of rye.
Corn exports in April 2025 amounted to 1 million 460 thousand tons, which is 2 million 272 thousand tons or 2.5 times less than last year.
In addition, in April 2025, 4.9 thousand tons of flour (or 6.5 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 1.9 thousand tons, or 1.3 times less than last year.
