In 2022/23 MY, the imports decreased to 5.4 mln tonnes. Brazil shipped 3.3 mln tonnes, ahead of Argentina by 920,000 tonnes, which reduced supplies due to drought-related problems. Shipments from the United States increased to 116,000 tons in 2022/23, but were still below the level of 2020/21.
