Harvest 2024: Seven regions of Ukraine have started rape harvest

Sixteen regions are already harvesting early grain crops. Seven regions have started harvesting rapeseed. It was threshed on 31.7 thousand hectares, 63.6 thousand tons were threshed.

In total, 209.8 thousand hectares of grains and pulses were threshed, and 721.4 thousand tons of the new crop were threshed.

In particular:

wheat – harvested 36.2 thousand ha, threshed – 112.8 thousand tons with a yield of 31.2 tons/ha;

barley – 145.8 thousand hectares were harvested, 545.7 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 37.4 tons/ha;

peas – 25.9 thousand hectares were harvested, 56.3 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 21.7 tons/ha.

The agrarians of Odesa are the leaders in grain harvesting, having harvested 85.7 thousand hectares. In terms of productivity, agricultural producers of Ternopil Oblast are ahead with an indicator of 78.1 t/ha.
