Grain harvest in Ukraine reached almost 59 million tons

As of February 15, the harvest of grain and leguminous crops in 2023 in Ukraine was completed on an area of 10.609 million hectares (97% of the planned), from which 58.993 million tons of grain were harvested.
This was announced by Denys Bashlyk, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization, on Telegram.
According to the operational data, as of the reporting date, the corn harvested in 2023 in Ukraine was threshed on 3.689 mln ha (91% of the forecast), with the total harvest of 28.748 mln tonnes.
“Over the past week, the corn harvest increased by about 44 thsd tonnes,” the report said.
