Grain harvest in Kazakhstan will meet domestic needs and exports
The grain harvest in Kazakhstan this year will make it possible to fully meet the country’s internal needs and maintain export opportunities. Yerbol Karashukeev, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic, told journalists about this on Tuesday.
“There is a harvest, there is grain and wheat, it is of very good quality this year. We will fully provide the domestic market and retain our export potential,” he said.
The agency expects that following the results of the harvesting campaign, it will be possible to harvest more than 19 million tons of grain in net weight, which is about 1 million tons higher than the initial forecast.
According to the minister, the volume of wheat in net weight will be over 14 million tons.
