Grain exports from Ukraine exceeded 8.5 mln tons
As of October 25, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 8 mln 562 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 3 mln 776 thsd tonnes or 1.4 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 4 million 284 thousand tons, which is 395 thousand tons less than last year. Ukrainian farmers also exported 664 thousand tons of barley and 0.9 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 3 mln 493 thsd tonnes, which is 3 mln 081 thsd tonnes or almost 1.9 times less than last year.
Also, 41.2 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 54.9 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 6.3 thousand tons or 1.1 times more than last year.
The previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated October 23. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY, the export volume of grains and pulses was 8 mln 333 thsd tonnes.
