Grain exports from Ukraine exceeded 6.5 mln tons
As of September 29, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 6 mln 538 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 218 thsd tonnes less than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
As of September 29, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 3 mln 253 thsd tonnes, which is 248 thsd tonnes more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 613 thousand tons of barley and 0.7 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 2 mln 649 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 128 thsd tonnes or 1.8 times less than last year.
Also, 35.9 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 47.9 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is 12 thousand tons or 1.5 times more than last year.
The previous data published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on the exports of grains and pulses were dated September 25. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY the export volume of grains and pulses was 6 mln 339 thsd tonnes.
