Grain exports from Ukraine exceeded 40.2 mln tons
As of April 26, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 40 mln 289 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 860 thsd tonnes or 1.02 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 15 mln 404 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 248 thsd tonnes or 1.08 times more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 2 million 178 thousand tons of barley and 1.2 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 22 mln 231 thsd tonnes, which is 1 mln 985 thsd tonnes or 1.08 times less than last year.
In addition, 85.7 thousand tons of flour (or 114.3 thousand tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 40.6 thousand tons or 1.47 times less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and legume exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on April 24. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY, the export volume of grains and pulses was 39 mln 914 thsd tonnes.
