Grain exports from Ukraine exceeded 3.6 mln tons

As of August 21, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 3 mln 607 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 280 thsd tonnes more than last year on the same date. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
In particular, Ukrainian wheat exports amounted to 1 million 467 thousand tons, which is 150 thousand tons or one and a half times more than last year.
Also, as of August 21, Ukrainian farmers exported 422 thousand tons of barley and 0.6 thousand tons of rye.
Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 1 million 711 thousand tons, which is 431 thousand tons less than last year.
Also, 17.7 thousand tons of flour were exported, or 23.6 thousand tons in terms of grain, which is almost twice as much as last year.
It is worth noting that as of August 18, in 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 3 mln 480 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses.
