The last ship under the grain deal is due to leave the Ukrainian port today, May 17. A UN spokesman told Reuters.
According to UN spokesman Stéphane Dujarric, contacts on the extension of the agreement continue at various levels.
“Obviously, we are at a delicate stage,” he added.
For his part, the Russian president’s spokesman said that no decision on the grain deal has been made yet.
“There are still many open questions about our part of the deal. Now we will have to make a decision,” said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
