Global Demand and Price Trends. Changing Consumption Patterns in the Oilseed Sector

Mert Demirkaya will feature a Discussion Panel ‘Global Demand and Price Trends. Changing Consumption Patterns in the Oilseed Sector’. Mert is responsible for sourcing oilseeds and exporting vegoil from the crushing plant in Umm Qasr Port in Basra, with a daily capacity of 3,000 mt. He is in charge of maximizing crush margin of the facility by overseeing the risk management while using futures and options trading. Through the network of regional traders and country directors, Mert is building sustainable supply chains for oilseeds, developing new markets for Tiryaki Agro.
