German farmers reduced sown areas under winter wheat and rapeseed
According to the estimates of the German National Statistics Agency, the area sown under winter wheat for the 2024 harvest decreased in the country by 7.3% per year to 2.6 million hectares.
German agrarians also reduced the area under winter rape by 4.7% per year to about 1.11 million hectares.
