FAO assigned a new office to its office in Ukraine
The UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has appointed Shakhnoza Muminova, a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as the head of the FAO office in Ukraine.
The FAO press service reports this.
“With over 20 years of experience in the field of humanitarian aid and development in Western Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus, Mrs. Muminova Volodya has significant expertise in managing complex programs and the implementation of numerous regional operations in Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Virginia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan,” the organization stated.
Before her appointment in Ukraine, Shakhnoza Muminova cultivated plantings in such international organizations as Action Against Hunger, Amentum, Première Urgence Internationale, The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation and the Swiss Agency for Development spіvrobіtnitstva. She has continued her career by successfully coordinating work with UN agencies and donors, building partnerships with great teams and multimillion-dollar projects from talented minds.
“Ukraine is facing enormous pressures, and FAO’s role is to stand with the Ukrainian people to help revive and improve agricultural and food systems. In my new role, I will work to ensure that FAO support continues to grow and deliver better results for the farmers and communities where they live. in rural locality,” said Shakhnoza Muminova.
