Extreme weather events will increase over the next 10 years – NASA
The data collected by NASA indicate that extreme weather conditions will intensify over the next decade, reports Agrobusiness magazine.
The head of NASA’s Earth Sciences Department, Karen St. Germain, said that more and more energy is trapped in the planet’s atmosphere, which leads to changes in water cycles.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration measures incoming solar radiation and outgoing emissions. Calculations of their difference indicate a gradual increase in the amount of heat in the system of our planet, which in some regions leads to increased drought, and in others – to an increase in the amount and intensity of precipitation.
