Exports via Ukraine’s Black Sea corridor reached 45 million tons
The maritime corridor created by the Ukrainian Navy has exported 45 million tons of cargo to 44 countries in almost nine months of operation.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development.
It is noted that since August 2023, almost 1600 ships have exported 45 million tons of cargo from the ports of Greater Odesa.
“These are mainly products of Ukrainian farmers for world food markets. Despite everything, Ukraine remains a top exporter of agricultural products and a guarantor of food security,” the statement said. In particular, 38 countries received more than 30 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products.
Currently, 108 more vessels are approaching the ports, exporting more than 3 million tons of cargo.
