Exports of Ukrainian sunflower oil in 2023/24 MY are 20% behind the previous season

In 2023/24 MY, Ukraine exported 764.4 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil, down 20.5% compared to the same period last season. Such data as of November 1 was provided by Ukroliyaprom.
Revenues from sunflower oil exports amounted to $609.8 mln, which is 44.2% less than last year.
In particular, in October, 407 thsd tonnes of sunflower oil were exported (-10.5%), with revenues of $317 mln (-36.8%). The price per ton of oil amounted to $780.1.
In general, in 2023 (January-October), Ukraine exported 4.5 mln tonnes of sunflower oil, up 33% compared to 2022. Revenues amounted to $4041.5 mln, down 9.4% compared to 2022. The price per ton of oil amounted to $897.8.
As a reminder, in October 2023, Ukraine managed to export 4.8 mln tonnes of agricultural products, which is 15% more than in the previous month.
