Exports of rapeseed oil from Ukraine reached a record in MY 2023/24

This year, the fat-and-oil industry of Ukraine managed to achieve growth despite all the challenges. This is stated in the message of the association “Ukroliyaprom”.

As noted, the export of rapeseed oil in July-June of 2023/24 MY reached the record level of more than 420 thsd tonnes.

“Ukrainian rapeseed oil is confidently entering the markets of China, EU countries, Malaysia, Singapore and other countries. Positive dynamics is also observed in rapeseed meal,” the association said.

They added that for the first time in all the years, Ukraine processed 1.0 mln tons of rapeseed (22.3% of the 2023 harvest), despite the fact that rapeseed is considered to be mainly export-oriented agricultural raw material.

Exports of sunflower and soybean oil, as well as meal, also increased significantly.
