Euronext rapeseed prices have fallen under pressure from falling vegetable oil prices

Euronext rapeseed prices have fallen.
Between August 22 and 28, rapeseed prices fell by €11.25 to €465.5/t ($540.50/t).
European rapeseed prices are under pressure from falling vegetable oil prices and a sharp decline in Canadian rapeseed prices on the Winnipeg exchange. StatsCan forecasts Canadian rapeseed production at 19.9 M mt, which is slightly below market expectations but 700 K mt higher than last year’s production. Australia is also expected to raise its production forecast.
