EU leaders call to speed up development of Solidarity Roads
The European Council has emphasized the importance of security and stability in the Black Sea.
This is stated in the conclusions of the European Council on enlargement and reforms in Ukraine, published on the website of the Council of the European Union.
“It is vital that Ukraine’s grain exports are stable and reach world markets. The European Council supports all efforts aimed at facilitating the export of Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products to the countries that need it most, in particular in Africa and the Middle East,” the document says.
The European Council also emphasized the importance of making full use of the EU’s Solidarity Roads and called on the European Commission to accelerate its work with member states to propose new measures to further develop the Solidarity Roads along all routes.
