Erdogan talks about grain corridor again

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
According to the President’s Office, special attention was paid to intensifying bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as involving Turkey and Turkish companies in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
“The leaders discussed in detail the implementation of the Peace Formula, emphasizing the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation in the Black Sea and Turkey’s leading role in implementing the relevant paragraph of the Peace Formula on food security,” the statement said.
At the same time, according to Hurriyet Daily News, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during a private meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, said that the Russian-Ukrainian war could be ended through dialogue while preserving Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Erdogan also said that efforts are underway to restore the Black Sea Grain Initiative and establish a truce that could pave the way for peace between Kyiv and Moscow.
