Corn yields in Ukraine approach 7 t/ha

As of December 11, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 55.5 million tons of grains and pulses, accounting for 92% of the forecasted area, according to the Ministry of Economy. Corn is still being harvested: 25.37 million tons have been collected from 83% of the sown area, with the national average yield reaching 6.94 t/ha.

Sunflower harvesting is 93% complete, covering 4.82 million hectares, producing 9.06 million tons, with an average yield of 1.88 t/ha. Soybeans are nearing completion, with 2.02 million hectares (98%) harvested, yielding 4.78 million tons at 2.37 t/ha.

Sugar beet harvesting is almost finished, with 99% of the area collected, producing 10.73 million tons and an average yield of 54.4 t/ha.

According to the Ministry of Economy, farmers are actively completing the harvest, and the average yields of major crops in Ukraine in 2025 already show an increase compared to the previous year.

To verify actual crop yields, the government and agricultural associations have launched an anonymous survey among farmers across the country.
