Corn sowing has started in Argentina
Sowing of corn for the crop-2025 in Argentina started early because of concerns about the lack of rain and plant pests that affect late crops. This is reported by Zerno On-line agency with reference to the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange.
Harvesting of corn crop-2024 is completed, the gross harvest amounted to 46.5 million tons, which is 25.6% more than a year earlier. The average yield amounted to 6.49 t/ha.
