Corn and soybean harvests are coming to an end in the US

According to the National Agricultural Statistics Service under the U.S. Department of Agriculture (NASS), by November 3, the corn crop was harvested from 91% of sown areas, soybeans – from 94%. The pace of harvesting is far ahead of the average.
Sowing of winter wheat was carried out on 87% of the planned area (89% on the same date on average for the last five years). Sprouts appeared on 66% of areas (71%).
The condition of winter wheat crops has improved compared to last week, but remains worse than last year. Now 41% of winter wheat crops are in good and excellent condition, while 36% are in satisfactory condition. The share of crops in good and excellent condition a year ago was 50%, in satisfactory condition – 39%.
