China’s soybean processing volume hits all-time high in June

According to SunSirs, a Chinese commodity market analysis system, the performance of large oil refineries in China hit a new all-time high in June, and capacity utilization is expected to remain high in July.
Soybean processing volumes totaled more than 9 million tons, while soybean meal production was more than 7 million tons, which is higher than the annual monthly average of 6.5 million tons.
Soybean meal transactions and shipments have slowed recently, and the rate of accumulation of raw materials has been higher than expected. Analysts expect soybean meal stocks in warehouses to grow to more than 1 million tons by the end of July.
Earlier, it was reported that the soybean meal market in China continued to weaken in June due to an abundance of imported soybeans, with the cost of soybean meal falling by 1.69%.
According to OleoScope, on 07/08/2025, the price of soybeans (Daylian) for July delivery was $578.49/t, which is $0.79/t lower than the previous value from 07/07/2025 ($579.28/t). This is the minimum value for the week.
