China soybean meal market shows 2.15% decline

According to SunSirs Commodity Analysis System, China’s soybean meal markets are in a bearish trend in March. After a brief rally, the prices are experiencing a sharp decline due to lower trading volumes.
On March 1, the average market price of soybean meal was 3,722 yuan/ton, and on March 7, it was 3,642 yuan/ton, down 2.15%. The main reason is that feed demand remains limited, and the overseas soybean futures market is weak and declining. Earlier, the threat of an escalating trade war led to a nearly 3% increase in Chinese soybean meal prices, but the market reaction was short-lived.
According to OleoScope, the price of Daylian soybean meal for March delivery on 07.03.2025 was $481.20/t, compared to $483.47/t in February.
Analysts note that feed demand remains weak by mid-March, and the external soybean futures market shows weak growth. The soybean meal market is expected to continue to decline in the near future.
