Cargo turnover through the Ukrainian Black Sea corridor has already reached 60 mln tons

Over 11 months of operation of the Ukrainian sea corridor, more than 60 million tons of goods have been exported through the ports of Greater Odesa. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
It is noted that out of these 60 million tons, 40.6 million tons of grain cargo were exported to 46 countries.
“Even despite the war and the enemy’s insidious shelling of port infrastructure, including hangars for storing agricultural products, Ukraine remains a key player in the global food security of the world. Especially with regard to grain exports to Asia and Africa,” the USPA said in a statement.
Currently, according to the report, the bulk carrier Manta Hacer with 25.2 thousand tons of Ukrainian humanitarian wheat is moving through the Ukrainian corridor to Yemen. This is another vessel chartered by the UN World Food Program.
In June, the cargo turnover of Ukrainian ports amounted to 7 million tons, which is 15% less than in May – 8.26 million tons, and 29% less than in April – 9.91 million tons. However, compared to June last year, transshipment volumes increased by one and a half times.
