Bunge completes acquisition of large grain terminal in Canada
Bunge has successfully completed the acquisition of the North West Terminal Ltd. (NWT) grain elevator in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The company’s press service reported.
The deal, announced on September 22, 2025, includes the grain elevator and associated storage facilities. The fermentation and distillation plant will continue to operate under the management of NWT.
The NWT grain complex has a total capacity of 63,000 tonnes, making it one of the largest grain processing complexes in Western Canada. It has full cleaning and drying capabilities and is served by two of Canada’s largest railways.
“We plan to make the necessary investments in this facility to ensure its smooth and efficient operation into the future, and we look forward to becoming an active participant in the life of the region as a leading employer and participant in community investment initiatives,” said Kyle Jevorsky, Bunge’s head of Canada.
