Bulgarian farmers harvested the best milling wheat crop in the last decade

Samples taken by the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture, which represent 37% of the total harvested crop, show that 73.04% of the wheat is milling quality. The perfect weather in the month before harvesting led to this huge increase compared to last year, when only 48.7% of the crop was milling quality.
This will allow the country to increase supplies to countries such as Egypt, Algeria, Morocco and other MENA countries, increasing competition in the region.
Further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV on April 24 in Kyiv.
