Brazil’s soybean exports to reach 14.47 mln tons in April 2025 – ANEC

Brazil’s National Cereal Exporters Association (ANEC) said Brazil’s April 2025 soybean exports will reach 14.47 million tons, up 1.22 million tons or 9.2 percent from the 13.25 million tons forecast a week ago. If that forecast comes true, it would be up 1.02 million tons or 7.6 percent from the 13.45 million tons forecast in April last year.
According to ANEC, Brazil’s April soybean exports ranged from 13.9 million tons to 15.04 million tons, with an average of 14.47 million tons.
Brazil’s March soybean exports totaled 16.1 million tons, up from 13.55 million tons in March last year.
In the first four months of this year, Brazil’s total soybean exports totaled 41 million tonnes, nearly half of its annual export volume of 97.3 million tonnes in 2024.
Last week, ANEC announced that Brazil exported 26.95 million tonnes of soybeans in the first quarter of 2025, up 1.4 million tonnes or 5.5% from the previous year. ANEC said Brazil’s soybean exports hit a record high in the first quarter, with China’s share increasing to 77% (up from 73% in the same period last year).
