Brazil’s soybean exports slowed in September – SECEX

Brazil’s soybean exports in September lagged behind the same period last year, according to the country’s Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX). From September 1 to 12, Brazil exported 2.718 million tons of soybeans, compared to 6.106 million tons in September last year.
The average daily export volume in September was 271,800 tons, down 6.5% from the annual average and 30% from last year.
Soybean export revenue in September amounted to $1.14 billion, compared to $2.59 billion for all of September last year.
The average soybean export price in September was $419.1 per ton, down 1% from the same period last year.
By comparison, Brazil’s soybean exports in August 2025 totaled 9.34 million tons, a 16.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
The agency previously reported that the share of Brazilian soybean shipments to China had increased to 78%, while soybean stocks in China were reaching new highs.
