Brazil’s soybean exports could reach 110 mln tons in 2025
According to ANEC, Brazil’s soybean exports in March 2025 will reach 14.8 million tons, up 1.25 million tons from the same period last year.
ANEC forecasts that Brazil’s soybean exports could reach 110 million tons in 2025, which is a real logistics challenge to overcome. If this export target is achieved, it will increase exports by about 13 million tons compared to 2024 and also exceed the historical peak of 101.3 million tons in 2023.
According to AgRural, the country’s gross harvest of beans in 2024/25 MY is expected to reach 168.2 mln tonnes. According to analysts, the trade war between the US President Donald Trump and China will give the Brazilian exporters of agricultural products the opportunity to take even bigger share of the Chinese market at the expense of the US farmers.
