Brazilian soybean exports to reach 7.4 million tons in September
Brazil in September may sell to foreign markets about 7.4 million tons of soybeans. This forecast was released by analysts of the Association of Grain Exporters Anec. They recalled that in the same month last year abroad went only 3.6 million tons of oilseed.
In addition, according to estimates of the industry association, corn exports will be 10.7 million tons against 9.7 million tons in September 2022. So far, from September 1 to 10, Brazil shipped 2.1 million tons of oilseed and 2 million tons of grain.
“Recall that in the previous reporting period, corn shipments were estimated at 4.2 million tons and soybeans at 3.2 million tons,” Anec specified.
Note that since the beginning of the current MY, Brazil exported 18.9 million tons of corn (+12% compared to a year earlier), and soybeans – 82.8 million tons (+25%).
