Experts forecast corn exports from Brazil in January at the level of 3.53 million tons (in December 2024 – 3.62 million tons; in January 2024 – 3.51 million tons). At the same time in the period from 19 to 25 January 1.22 million tons were prepared for shipment (708 thousand tons – a week earlier).
Earlier it became known that China suspended deliveries of Brazilian soybeans from 5 companies because their cargoes did not meet phytosanitary requirements. Suspension related to phytosanitary measures was caused by the fact that Brazil has seriously increased its share in the world’s largest soybean market at the expense of the United States.
