Brazilian soybean exports declined in May

Last month, Brazil shipped about 13.36 million tons of soybeans to foreign markets. This estimate was released by analysts of the National Association of Exporters Anec, noting that sales of South American oilseed decreased by 7.3% to the level of May 2023.
According to experts, the decline in shipments may continue: in June, the supply of Brazilian soybeans abroad, according to forecasts Anec, will again sag.
Recall that Brazil is the largest exporter of soybeans in the world. USDA estimates oilseed exports from this region in MY 2023/24 at 102 million tons, and for MY 2024/25 at 105 million tons.
