Brazilian soybean and corn exports to be lower than expected in January – ANEC

Brazil’s National Grain Exporters Association (ANEC) announced that Brazilian soybean exports in January 2026 are estimated at 3.23 million tons, below the previously forecast 3.79 million tons.

The agency also reported that Brazilian corn exports in January will reach 3.39 million tons, also below the previously forecast 3.45 million tons, but still up 6.4% from 3.185 million tons in the same period last year.

Total corn exports from Brazil are expected to reach 44 million tons by the end of the year, up from 41.9 million tons in 2025.

It was previously reported that Brazilian soybean meal exports will reach 1.82 million tons in January 2026, up 10.7% from the previous year.

ANEC’s estimates are based on port vessel schedules. Actual export volumes may vary depending on weather conditions.
