Brazil increased exports of soybeans and soybean meal in January

Brazil last month sent to foreign markets about 2.5 million tons of soybeans (+0.6 million tons to January 2023). Such data were released by analysts of the national association Anec, who previously expected that exports of South American oilseed in January will be only 1.3 million tons.
Shipments of Brazilian soybean meal in the reporting period amounted to 1.8 million tons (+0.4 million tons), which is fully in line with the initial expectations of experts.
Anec also estimates that 0.69 million tons of wheat (+0.04 million tons) was shipped abroad in January, the highest monthly sales volume of the crop over the past year.
Brazilian corn shipments, on the other hand, sagged from 4.9 million tons in January 2023 to 3.5 million tons.
