Brazil exported more than 3.5 mln tons of soybeans in July
Brazil sold about 3.6 mln tonnes of soybeans to the foreign markets in the period from July 1 to July 9, according to the data released by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC).
Thus, the total exports of the oilseed from the South American region since the beginning of the current season reached 65.9 mln tonnes, up 23% compared to the same period of 2021/22 MY.
It should be noted that the analysts of the national Association of Grain Exporters Anec estimate the sales of Brazilian oilseed from 1 to 9 of the current month to be somewhat more modest – 2.8 mln tonnes.
In addition, according to MDIC, Brazil shipped 518.6 thsd tonnes of corn to foreign markets during the same period, bringing the total exports of the grain to 3.7 mln tonnes (-4%) in the current MY.
