Brazil breaks record for coffee exports in 2024

Brazil has broken the record for coffee exports in 2024. The country delivered a record volume of coffee to foreign markets at the end of last year, increasing by 28.5% compared to 2023 and increasing by 12.8% to the historical maximum of 2020.
In total, Brazil directly sold more than 50 million bags of coffee to 116 countries. Arabica accounted for 73% – almost 37 million bags, while Robusta supplied 13.5 million bags to the world market – just over a quarter of the total volume.
Shipments of arabica varieties were up 20% compared to 2023. Robusta exports increased by 98% year-on-year.
