Bangladesh purchased 50 thsd tons of wheat

The Bangladesh Directorate of Food Products (DGF) purchased 50,000 tons of milling wheat at a tender held on June 22, the Zerno On-Line agency reported, citing European traders.
The winner of the tender was Cereal Crops, which offered the lowest price of $275 per ton on a CIF liner out basis.
According to the terms of the tender, shipment will take place within 40 days after signing the contract to the ports of Chittagong (30,000 tons) and Mongla (20,000 tons). Wheat can be delivered from any country except Israel.
The next tender for the purchase of a similar volume of wheat will be held on July 9.
