Azerbaijan reduced expenditures on wheat imports by 8%

Azerbaijan imported 1 million 292,000 tons of wheat worth $279 million 681,000 in 2024.
This is reported by Report with reference to the State Customs Committee.
The volume of imports increased by 116 thousand 685 tons (9.9%) compared to 2023, but import costs decreased by 24 million 302 thousand dollars (7.9%).
Wheat import costs amounted to 1.3% of Azerbaijan’s total import costs.
