Armenia reduced grain imports in January-July

In January-July 2025, Armenia imported 147.4 thousand tons of wheat worth 36.0 million US dollars, Zerno On-Line reported with reference to the Statistical Committee of Armenia. During the same period last year, wheat imports in kind amounted to 316.0 thousand tons, in value terms – 60.723 million US dollars.
Barley imports in the first seven months of this year amounted to 32.498 thousand tons (52.653 thousand tons in January-July 2024) or 6.359 (7.89) million US dollars, corn – 37.609 (68.211) thousand tons or 9.312 (14.141) million US dollars.
