ANEC expects Brazil’s soybean exports in July 2025 at 12.11 mln tons

According to the Brazilian National Association of Grain Exporters (ANEC), Brazil’s soybean exports in July 2025 are projected to be 12.11 million tons, down from the 12.19 million tons forecast a week ago, but up 26% from the 9.6 million tons in July last year.
With Brazil’s soybean production set to hit record highs in 2024/25, exports are expected to rise year-on-year. However, compared to the first half of the year, shipments are expected to slow, giving way to corn exports. The latest forecasts are for July bean exports to be 10% lower than in June, at 13.48 million tons.
At the same time, analysts estimate that Brazil’s bean exports to China will reach 85% in the second half of the year. Total Brazilian bean exports for the year could reach 64.95 million tons.
The United States Department of Agriculture (FAS USDA) projects that soybean acreage in Brazil will reach 49.1 million hectares in the 2025/26 season, up 3% year-on-year, with soybean crushing at 58 million tons.
