Almost 5.7 million hectares of winter crops sown in Ukraine

As of the second week of November, Ukrainian farmers sowed almost 5.7 million hectares of winter crops: grain – 4514.2 thousand hectares, including 3968 thousand hectares of wheat, 469 thousand hectares of barley, and 77 thousand hectares of rye. Winter rape was sown on 1151 thou hectares.
Eight regions of Ukraine have fully completed winter crops sowing, while the rest are systematically coming to an end. In most regions, agricultural producers have already sown more than 90% of the winter crops forecast.
The increase in winter grain sowing for the week is 128.5 thou hectares. As a reminder, winter rapeseed sowing has been completed in all regions.
