Almost 30 million tons of Ukrainian grain were exported

As of March 4, in 2023/2024 MY Ukraine exported 29 mln 951 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses, which is 2 mln 987 thsd tonnes or 1.09 times less than last year. This is reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Exports of Ukrainian wheat amounted to 11 mln 935 thsd tonnes, which is 505 thsd tonnes more than last year.
Ukrainian farmers also exported 1 million 623 thousand tons of barley and 1.0 thousand tons of rye.
Exports of Ukrainian corn amounted to 16 mln 113 thsd tonnes, which is 2 mln 999 thsd tonnes or 1.18 times less than last year.
In addition, 74.4 thousand tons of flour (or 98.8 thousand tons in terms of grain) were exported, which is 27.2 thousand tons or 1.36 times less than last year.
Preliminary data on grain and legume exports were published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on March 1. According to them, in 2023/2024 MY 29 mln 681 thsd tonnes of grains and pulses were exported.
As a reminder, the exports of agricultural products in the first half of 2023/24 MY are 17% lower than last year.
