Algeria purchased 200 thousand tons of durum wheat

April 25, Algerian state company OAIC held a tender for the purchase of at least 50 thousand tons of durum wheat with delivery from June 1 to June 30. This is reported by Zerno On-Line with reference to European traders.
According to preliminary data, about 200 thousand tons of wheat will be purchased at the price of $395-398 per ton on the basis of C&F on condition of delivery on vessels of Panamax type and at the price of $405-412 per ton on the basis of C&F on condition of delivery on vessels of Handymax type. Wheat will be supplied mainly from Mexico.
