Algeria held a tender for the purchase of wheat

On February 25, the Algerian state company OAIC held a tender for the purchase of at least 50 thousand tons of milling wheat of any origin with a protein content of 11.5%. This was reported by the Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
150 thousand tons of wheat were purchased at a price of $273-274 per ton on a C&F basis and at $280 per ton on a C&F basis. According to other estimates, the purchase volume is 170 thousand tons.
According to the terms of the tender, the delivery will take place in April-June to the ports of Mostaganem and/or Tenes.
Further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV on April 24 in Kyiv.
