Algeria held a tender for the purchase of wheat

On November 26, the Algerian state company OAIC held a tender for the purchase of at least 50 thousand tons of soft wheat of random origin with delivery to the ports of Mostaganem and/or Tenes. This is reported by Zerno On-Line agency with reference to European traders.
It was purchased 140-150 thousand tons of wheat at a price of $267 C&F. According to traders, the main volume will be supplied from the Black Sea region. French wheat was again excluded from the tender because of diplomatic tension between France and Algeria.
Under the terms of the tender, shipments will take place from January 1 to March 31, 2025. If the wheat comes from South America or Australia, the shipment will take place one month earlier.
Further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV on April 24 in Kyiv.
