Algeria held a tender for the purchase of wheat

Algerian state company OAIC purchased 160-350 thousand tons of durum wheat of random origin at the tender on November 19. This was reported by Zerno On-line agency with reference to European traders.
The purchase price amounted to $348 C&F per ton for delivery on Panamax class vessels and $12 higher in case of wheat delivery on Handysize class vessels. Under the terms of the tender, shipments will take place between January 1 and February 28, 2025. According to traders, some of the wheat is purchased in Canada.
Further development of the grain sector in the Black Sea and Danube region will be discussed at the 23 International Conference BLACK SEA GRAIN.KYIV on April 24 in Kyiv.
